Character's Full Name: Lacuna Eureka (pronounced Air-ra-kah)
Character's Login Name: Lacuna Eureka
Character's Species: Snow Leopard
Character's Age: 21
Physical Description: Lacuna is of average height and a little on the skinny side due to forgetting meals as she works hard on her potion making. Her has small rounded ears sitting on top of her head, they hold a lot of emotion and she can't help but to move them in keeping with her mood. She had large rounded, icy coloured eyes with almond shaped pupils. The skin around her eyes that wasn't covered in fur was black which really brought focus to them, giving a deep meaning to her otherwise featureless face.
Despite being a snow leopard, Lacuna had no spots or clouding in her fur, instead it was just a brilliant unbroken shade of white which among her village, gave her a rather unique appearance. Her hair seemingly made up for her lack of the usual dark spotting as it was very dark ebon. It is rather long and sits at around the middle of her back, she has a few long, thin braids made from the hair at her fringe woven with ribbons of brown and blue and tied up at the back of her head. Lacuna's tail was long and muscular and covered in thick white fur. Lacuna was very clever, she loved chasing answers to questions that had never been answered, finding cures to diseases, illness and conditions that had never had answers, discovering new chemicals, elements, and combining them to create new substances. Her main goal is to promote healthy living and will happily provide medicines to those who need though them.
Over her chest she is usually seen wearing leather straps covered in little pouches filled with herbs, seeds, glass bottles, vials, powders, and other alchemical supplies.
Magical items/Powers: Shapeshift. Lacuna has the potential to shapeshift into a feral leopard, she doesn't currently know she has this ability and isn't likely to use it too much.
Other than this Lacuna has no magical ability at all, and is in fact rather scared of it.
History! (I thought I would just make one) Lacuna never met her real birth parents, She was found by tribesmen out on a hunt wrapped up in hides and furs in the great pine forest and was taken back with them. She was just a baby then and the only things she has with her was a pendant and a short letter from her birth mother. She was taken in by a kind and caring young couple and never deluded her that she was their real daughter, but the loved her just the same.
Growing up, Lacuna learned things pretty quick, she was always keen to try new things which unfortunately ended up with her injuring herself many times, more times than she would ever care to mention which always left her in the village Infirmary looking a little roughed up. After a while she became curious in what the healers did there, she made pretty good friends with them and as she was always well behaved, they often let her watch what they were doing. Letting watch turned to teaching, and over time teaching turned to practice. Lacuna developed a real love for medicine, learning what made people tick, what medicines did what and coming up with her own ideas and techniques, she started writing books of her notes that she had made and was never squeamish around blood or gory scenes. She also loved patient care, she would never put anyone in harms way and just wants to see people live happy and pain free lives.
Sample RP Post: Fiddled a little with her bandaging, she had scolded people countless times for doing the same but now she could understand why! She always forgot how the itchy the healing process was. It still pained her a lot to move, a constant dull throbbing in her forearm made it hard to think and the sharp pain whenever she tried to move her wrist or fingers didn't help either. Lacuna sighed softly and slipped her fingers into one of the little leather pouches on her belt and dragged out a tiny vial. “Mnn... Only three more of these left” She whined as she teased the cork stopped from the top and drank the clear liquid inside. That should kill the pain for the next few hours.
