I'd meant to get on and RP last night, but my Furcadia client keeps locking up.
Of necessity, Delrick's departure would have been discussed with Haku and Landi, and the Manor would be aware of it.
Those who've done business with the gnome (especially recently) would have gotten a personal goodbye from him, as would his immediate neighbors.
On the door to The Clockwerks is a sign saying simply "Closed" with a note beneath it which reads "If you still need help, see Solution Box by door"
The "Solution Box" contains a length of rope, some pulleys, a long metal rod, a wooden wedge, a large odd-shaped stone, and a cloth ball filled with feathers. Instructions on the underside of the lid (with detailed illustrations, featuring Delrick using the tools. such that anyone can figure it out) explain how to use the contents to solve a variety of increasingly silly problems.
The final "solution" involves the soft, feather-stuffed, cloth ball, unused in all the other solutions, as a "stress ball" to calm down. The contents of the box may not solve anyone's problems, but at the very least it will make them smile.
