Character's Full Name: Meihui
Character's Login Name: Meihui
Character's Species: Qilin (Chinese Kirin)
Character's Age: Unknown - mature
Physical Description: 16 hands high (5'4") at the withers, feral, well-muscled body (1,500 lbs), deer-like head, gold antlers, cloven hooves- gold, with gold spurs, red scales on back and belly, white body, mane, and tail.
Furc Desc >> Celestial creature stood an easy sixteen hands high, built with a well-muscled frame, she might have been a creature of burden. Yet it would be hard to mistake the beast for anything quite so trivial. Gold antlers grew up from deer-like head, hooves and sharp spurs at her feet. Along her back and belly grew overlapping scales of blush red. A fortuitous visitor, the beast reacted to her surroundings with an intelligence that belied her feral form.
Magical items/Powers: Fire Ball- A thick ball of molten slag can be created, and spat at enemies. The slag hardens into a quartz rock. This defense is usually a last resort, and can only be produced once during battle, and takes about a week to re-accumulate.
Fire Breath- Flames can be emitted from the mouth, though not very far, the action is generally used as a bluff, to frighten away enemies before a fight.
Hot Rock- The scales along back and belly can be heated. Temperature is controlled, and can range anywhere from a warm blanket to a hot skillet.
Snow Drop- During the winter months, the golden antlers are shed. When inspected, they are heavily porous, but solid gold. Velvet breaks generally in late spring.
Other Notes: Unlikely to use magic. A generally curious creature, and particularly drawn to those of other mythological race. Intolerant to cruelty, and is semi-sentient.
Sample RP Post: Meihui stood quietly out by the lake, head dipped down to nibble at the tender grass along the banks, and occasionally sip from the pond as well. Long tail swished back and forth, keeping pests at bay. Warm afternoon light glinted and glittered off antlers and scales, giving the creature a opalescent sheen. Ears swiveled in constant attention to surroundings, as this was a new place. New, and full of magic. Perhaps it was a good place that the creature had finally landed on. Grass was good, at least.
