In the Village of Nasmara we consider all characters physically and mentally under the age of 18 to be children. If your child character is under 14, the rules are even more realistic (and thus a little constraining).
Child characters here are subject to more restrictions in their behavior than adult characters. They have a curfew, they have things they can and cannot do. They have obligations they are required to fulfill.
If a child character refuses to go into the children’s home, all of the guards are granted a small item that can conjure a small dustdevil that will relentlessly and inescapably pursue the child, repeatedly spanking them until they are in the confines of the children’s home.
While children are not restricted characters, so to speak, it is nonetheless subject to agreement between the player of the character and the Administration that the child character will be complying with the laws of the town (however fussily).
Due to a nuance of the Lore and continuity, a child character would be extraordinarily overpowered without this agreement in place.
We are very realistic here! That means if your kid is doing something adults would not allow in the actual real physical world, the adults are not going to allow it here! Please keep this in mind when deciding whether or not to play a child character.
