A large herd of fallow deer have taken up seemingly permanent residence in the local forests. At night it seems some brazen members of the heard might be seen venturing into the local township to nibble the greenery and gardens there.
Midday they seem to bed down amongst the trees or keep out of sight. Most active at just before dawn and first light and just at sundown and right after. There are quite a few handsome young bucks that might make for good headpieces.
Mostly seen in herds from 4-25 or so. Wary and watchful.
