Any accepted member of the continuity may apply to run a shop, and will most likely be accepted. Please be sure that you have time to roleplay in the dream, as we would prefer shopkeepers to be here at least two days out of the week actively participating in IC events. You do not need to sit in your shop for hours at a time, but if you do feel like shop rp, please feel free to whisper people asking if they'd like to join you.
ICly, when your character becomes a shopkeeper, they are renting their shop from one of the NPCs found in the dream. As such, if you disappear off the face of the planet, it will be assumed that your character is missing payments on the shop and the shopkeeper will take over selling things in it once more until someone else comes along interested in renting the space.
Shops all come with an apartment, either above or below. I'm willing to set up these rooms however you see fit, so please whisper me if you are dissatisfied with their layout. =)
NOTE: If you are going to be gone for an extended period of time but would like to retain your shop position, PLEASE remember to contact one of the admin in the dream to tell them! Otherwise you will be losing your shop within 1-2 months of absence!
